ANDRA IONETE
Born in 1983 in Bucharest. She begins ballet at the age of 4. In 1993 she attends ballet classes at the Floria Capsali High School in Bucharest. She obtains several 1st, 2nd, 3rd and excellence awards at the National Olympiad as well as at the Oleg Danovsky International Ballet Competition.
In 2002 she joins the corps de ballet of the Romanian National Opera. Since 2003 she dances as a soloist, and since 2007 as a Principal Dancer.

In 2016 guest of the International Festival of Music and Dance in Granada (Spain) together with the Bolshoi Theatre - Moscow. In 2017 at the Aegean International Festival and other galas in Italy, Denmark, Greece and the Netherlands.

She graduated from the I.L. Caragiale University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest in 2005, at the Pedagogy department, and in 2009 obtained her Master’s degree in Choreography. Between 2001–2002 member of the modern dance company “Sincretic Art”. In 2007 she taught at the Floria Capsali High School, Bucharest.
She received training with Marie Walton-Mahon within the Progressing Ballet Technique program.
