Annarella Sanchez

Born in Cuba in 1971 is the director of the renowned dance school of Portugal, Annarella Academia de Ballet e Dança for twenty years and the Conservatório Internacional de Ballet e Dança Annarella Sánchez for three years.

Graduated from the Cuban School of Ballet in Camaguey, Cuba, and specialist in Classical Dance at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Cuba, with diploma recognized by the Lisbon Dance School, Portugal, stands out as a pedagogue in teaching ballet to children from 6 to 14 years of age.

Following strict ballet practices, from Ballet Nacional de Cuba, and many hours of dedication to this art, managed that young dancers from the Leiria Region (Portugal), obtained top places and maximum prizes in the most renowned international ballet competitions in the world, such as the Dance World Cup, o Youth American Grand Prix, Tanzolymp, South Africa International Ballet Competition, the Varna International Ballet Competition, the Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition and, more recently, the Prix de Lausanne. Besides that, are invited, regularly, to participate in Galas and Dance Festivals, sharing the stage with Professional Dancers in different countries like Spain, Italy, France, Mexico, China, United States, Cuba, Germany, Romania.
